Film: The Greatest Showman (PG)

Event date: Saturday 13 August 2022

Parking: the site operates a pay and display parking system. There is a special price of £3 from 6pm for anyone attending the event. When parking in the area reserved for the cinema event, purchase a ticket for up to 2 hours (£3) from one of our machines and when we do car park checks we will know that you are there for the event and will extend the time.

Times: entry to the screening area from 7.30pm, film starts 9pm, ends at 10.45pm (timings are approximate subject to weather conditions on the night).

Tickets: please bring a printout of your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s) with you, or show it on your phone. We’ll have a list of all bookers with us too, so if you can’t find your e-tickets, confirmation e-mail or receipt, just bring photo ID along on the night.

Premium Seats: if you have booked a Premium Seat, this will be located at the front of the screening area and reserved for you. Please take your seat no later than 15 minutes before the start of the film. You will be given a blanket to use for the evening. Please leave the blanket on your deckchair at the end of the show for us to collect.

General Entry Seats: please remember to bring your own low-backed camping chair, deckchair or picnic blanket to the screening. Picnic blankets will be located near the front, with camping chairs and deckchairs behind, so that everyone gets a good view. Guests arriving with high-backed chairs may be asked to sit at the sides or rear.

Food and Drink: you are welcome to bring your own picnics, including food and soft drinks, but please don’t bring your own alcohol. The onsite cafe will be open from 7pm, selling food and drink to take away including burgers and chips, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and cinema snacks. Normal licensing rules apply, no alcohol to be drunk by or supplied to under 18s. Please do not bring glasses or glass bottles to the event, only plastic and cans. Your bags may be checked on entry by security.

What to Wear: please wear warm clothes, the more layers the better, and bring a blanket or similar to keep you toasty. Closed toe footwear is also sensible.

Other Useful Info: please bring a torch for the return trip to your vehicle after the screening or use the light on your phone. No dogs are permitted, except assistance dogs. Please respect the venue and take your litter home or put in bins at the venue. Please bring insect repellent if you want to use it, there can be a few midges at dusk.

Weather: screenings proceed in all weathers, including rain, screenings are only stopped or postponed if the weather is deemed to be making the event unsafe. This includes very heavy, prolonged rain, high winds and thunderstorms. No umbrellas are allowed in the screening area once the film begins.

Terms and Conditions: the organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or to ask patrons to leave if causing a nuisance. Customers are requested to respect their fellow audience members by not making unnecessary noise or disturbing those around them during the screening. Smoking and vaping is not permitted in the screening area, please move away to the sides or rear, well away from the audience, should you wish to do this.
