Event date: Friday 13 August

Location: International Centre for Birds of Prey, Boulsdon Lane, near Newent. For directions click HERE

Parking: Free parking for all visitors from 7.30pm, please follow steward directions/arrows to the event parking area.

Times: Entry to the screening area from 7.30pm, film starts 9pm, ends at 10.45pm (timings are approximate and subject to weather conditions on the night)

Tickets: Please bring a printout of your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s) with you, or show it on your phone. We’ll have a list of all bookers with us too, so if you can’t find your e-tickets, confirmation e-mail or receipt, just bring photo ID along on the night.

COVID Measures: as restrictions have now been lifted in England, we won’t be asking you to wear facemasks to the event, or to socially distance from each other. However, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask at any point, this is fine with us, and we’ll also make sure there’s enough room at the event for you to sit a reasonable distance from neighbouring groups. All premium deckchair seats will be distanced by group. If you are shielding, or experiencing symptoms associated with Covid-19, please do not attend the event. We will be happy to offer you a voucher for a future screening, or for you to give your ticket to someone else.

Premium Deckchair Seat tickets: if you have booked a premium deckchair seat, this will be reserved at the front of the screening area right up until the start of the film. You will be given a blanket to use for the evening. Please leave the blanket on your seat at the end of the show.

BYO Seat tickets: please remember to bring your own picnic blanket, low-backed camping chair or deckchair to the screening. Picnic blankets will be located on the ground at the front, with deckchairs and camping chairs behind, so that everyone gets a good view. Anyone arriving with high-backed camping chairs will be asked to sit to the sides or rear.

Food and Drink: amazing gluten-free fish and chips will be on sale, provided by Newent’s legendary Made Without Gluten, plus a bar selling alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Card payments only for food and drink, please. You are also welcome to bring your own picnics, but no glass containers or bottles are allowed in the venue.

What to Wear: Please wear warm clothes, the more layers the better, and bring a blanket or similar to keep you toasty. Closed toe footwear is also sensible.

Other Useful Info: Please bring a torch for the return trip to your vehicle after the screening or use the light on your phone. No dogs are permitted, except assistance dogs by prior arrangement. Please respect the centre and the birds it protects by using the venue’s bins or taking home any personal litter for disposal.

Weather: Screenings proceed in all weathers, including rain, screenings are only stopped or postponed if the weather is deemed to be making the event unsafe. This includes very heavy, prolonged rain, high winds and thunderstorms. No umbrellas are allowed in the screening area once the film begins.

Terms and Conditions: Management reserve the right to refuse entry or to ask patrons to leave if causing a nuisance. Customers are requested to respect their fellow audience members by not making unnecessary noise or disturbing those around them during the screening. Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the venue, please head for the main exit and its designated smoking area should you wish to do this.
