Parking: free parking for all visitors, follow arrows for additional parking should the main hotel car park be full
Times: entry to the screening area from 6.30pm, film starts 8pm, ends at 9.45pm (timings are approximate and subject to weather conditions on the night)
Tickets: please bring a printout of your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s) with you, or show it on your phone, and check in at our box office tent on arrival. We’ll have a list of all bookers with us too, so if you can’t find this info, just bring photo ID along on the night. If you can’t find your e-tickets, please check your spam folder before contacting us.
Food and Drink: Cowley Manor will be serving a BBQ Grill, including meats, salads, slaw and vegetarian option. There will also be a pop-up bar, which will also be serving special screening promotions of house Fizz, wine and summer Rose, plus beers and soft drinks, plus popcorn and sweets. We therefore respectfully ask you not to bring your own food and drink. PLEASE NOTE: cash only will be accepted on the night at the outdoor food and drink tents. Card payments can be taken for items purchased inside the hotel.
Premium Seats: if you have booked a Premium Seat, this will be reserved in your name at the front of the screening area right up until the start of the film. You will be given free popcorn and a blanket to use for the evening.
General Entry Seats: please remember to bring your own picnic rug, beanbag, low-backed camping chair or deckchair to the screening. Rugs and beanbags will be located near the front, with camping chairs and deckchairs behind, so that everyone gets a good view. Anyone arriving with high-backed chairs will be asked to sit to the sides or rear.
Paying on the Door: Saturday’s screening is sold out, tickets for Sunday may be available on the door and this page will be updated on the day to confirm this. Cash payments only on the door.
What to Wear: as it’s now September, it gets cooler after dark than it did earlier in the season. Please wear warm clothes, the more layers the better, and bring a blanket or similar to keep you toasty. Closed toe footwear is also sensible too. It’s time for the sandals and flip-flops to get packed away for another year…
Other Useful Info: Please bring a torch for the return trip to your vehicle after the screening, or use the light on your phone. Please respect the venue and take your litter home or give to our staff at the end of the night. No dogs are permitted, except assistance dogs.
Weather: screenings proceed in all weathers, including rain, screenings are only stopped or postponed if the weather is deemed to be making the event unsafe. No umbrellas allowed in the screening area once the film begins.
Terms and Conditions: management reserve the right to refuse entry or to ask patrons to leave if causing a nuisance. Customers are requested to respect their fellow audience members by not making unnecessary noise or disturbing those around them during the screening. Smoking and vaping is not permitted in the screening area, please move away to designated smoking areas should you wish to do this.
