Parking: free parking in the main Sandford Parks Lido car park from 6pm, gates open 6.45pm
Times: entry to the poolside from 6.45pm, films start at 8.15pm, Pretty Woman ends at 10.15pm, The Goonies ends at 10.05pm (timings are approximate and subject to weather conditions on the night)
Tickets: please bring a printout of either your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s) with you, or show it on your phone, and check in on arrival. We’ll have a list of all bookers with us too, so if you can’t find this info, just bring photo ID along on the night. If you can’t find your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s), please check your spam folder before contacting us.
Food and Drink: you are welcome to bring picnics, but no alcohol is permitted, and please don’t bring any glass. Our event bar courtesy of Honeychurch Events will be serving beer, lager, cider, wines, prosecco, gin and soft drinks plus sweets and popcorn, and the lovely folks from Stimulatte will be serving up amazing gourmet coffee including latte, cappucino, mocha, espresso, machiato, latte over ice, Vietnamese style coffee plus tea and hot chocolate. PLEASE NOTE: cash only will be accepted on the night at the outdoor bar and coffee pop-up. Normal licensing rules apply, no alcohol to be drunk by or supplied to under 18s. Please do not bring glasses or glass bottles, only plastic and cans.
Premium Seating: If you have booked a Premium Seat, this will be located at the front of the screening area. You will be given a blanket to use for the evening. A refundable deposit of £5 will be required for each blanket, which will be given back to you when you return the blanket at the end of the show.
General Entry Seats: Please remember to bring your own picnic rug, beanbag, low-backed camping chair or deckchair to the screening. Rugs and beanbags will be located near the front, with camping chairs and deckchairs to the sides and behind, so that everyone gets a good view. If you arrive with a high-backed camping chair you may be asked to sit at the side or rear, so as not to block the view of others.
Headphones: due to local noise restrictions, the soundtrack to the movie will be played through wireless headphones which will be given to you on arrival. Please don’t forget to return these to us at the end of the show!
Paying on the Door: a small number of tickets will be available on the door for The Goonies, cash payments only please. No tickets will be available on the door for Pretty Woman.
What to Wear: please wear warm clothes, the more layers the better, and bring a blanket or similar to keep you toasty. Closed toe footwear is also sensible too. Now it’s September it’s getting a bit nippier as night falls!
Other Useful Info: Please bring a torch for the return trip to your vehicle after the screening, or use the light on your phone. Please respect the venue and take your litter home or give to our staff at the end of the night. No dogs are permitted, except assistance dogs.
Weather: screenings proceed in all weathers, including rain, screenings are only stopped or postponed if the weather is deemed to be making the event unsafe. No umbrellas allowed in the screening area once the film begins.
Terms and Conditions: management reserve the right to refuse entry or to ask patrons to leave if causing a nuisance. Customers are requested to respect their fellow audience members by not making unnecessary noise or disturbing those around them during the screening. Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere in the venue. Please step outside the venue into the car park if you wish to smoke or vape.
