Film: The Greatest Showman (PG)

Date: Saturday 17th June

Event times: entry to the event from 8pm, film starts at 9.30pm, ends at 11.15pm (timings are approximate and subject to weather conditions on the night).

Venue: Alderley Park, Congleton Road, Nether Alderley, Macclesfield, SK10 4TG

Directions/Parking: when approaching the Park please head towards the North entrance (signposted Alderley Park North). There will be marshalls who will direct you to the allocated free car parking area, a short walk from the event. Directions to the venue can be found HERE

Tickets: please bring a printout of your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s) with you, or show it on your phone. We’ll have a list of all bookers with us too, so if you can’t find your e-tickets, confirmation e-mail or receipt, just bring photo ID along on the night.

Food and Drink: food and drink will be on sale at the event, including stone-baked pizzas, hot and cold drinks, beer, wine, cocktails, cinema snacks, bakes and ice cream rolls. You are also welcome to bring your own food/picnics to the event, but (due to licensing restrictions) please don’t bring your own alcohol. Please don’t bring any glass or sharp items to the event. Bag searches may be in operation.

Premium Deckchair Seats: if you have booked a Premium Deckchair Seat, these will be located at the front of the screening area. These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (you are guaranteed a seat, so don’t worry, and we’ll make sure that you can sit with friends if you’ve booked these seats separately from each other). Please take your seat no later than 15 minutes before the start of the film.

General Entry Seats: please remember to bring your own low-backed camping chair, deckchair or picnic blanket to the screening. Picnic blankets will be located near the front, with camping chairs and deckchairs behind, so that everyone gets a good view. Guests arriving with high-backed chairs may be asked to sit at the sides or rear.

Other Useful Info: please bring practical, warm clothes and footwear, plus blankets to keep warm. Please bring a torch for the return trip to your vehicle after the screening. Please respect the venue and take your litter home or give to our staff at the end of the night. No dogs allowed (except assistance dogs). Smoking and vaping is not permitted in the screening area, please move away to the sides or rear, well away from the audience, should you wish to do this. Please don’t bring any glass or sharp items to the event. Strictly no fires or BBQs.

Weather: screenings proceed in all weathers, including rain, screenings are only stopped or postponed if the weather is deemed to be making the event unsafe. This includes very heavy, prolonged rain, high winds and thunderstorms. No umbrellas are allowed in the screening area once the film begins. Please keep an eye on your inbox, spam folder and our social media channels in the run-up to an event if the weather forecast is looking particularly bad, all customers would be contacted by e-mail if we needed to postpone or cancel due to very poor or hazardous weather.

Terms and Conditions: management reserve the right to refuse entry or to ask patrons to leave if causing a nuisance. Customers are requested to respect their fellow audience members by not making unnecessary noise or disturbing those around them during the screening.
