Join us among twinkling fir trees and fairy lights for this classic festive rom-com at our pop-up festive cinema, in the beautiful surroundings of St Andrew’s United Reformed Church in the lovely Montpellier, Cheltenham.
Iris (Kate Winslet) is in love with a man who’s about to marry another woman. Across the globe, Amanda (Cameron Diaz) realises her man has been unfaithful. Although 6,000 miles apart, the two women find themselves in exactly the same place, and via a home exchange website decide to swap homes for the festive season. Iris jets off to sunny California, while Amanda arrives in the snow-covered English countryside, and both find the last thing either wanted or expected; a new romance. Jack Black and Jude law also star as the respective new men on the scene, in this funny, heart-warming tale of love, travel and adventure at Christmas!
Please note: this is an INDOOR screening, so there’s no need to wear lots of layers and blankets for the film as you would with our outdoor shows.
Tickets: please bring a printout of your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s) with you, or show it on your phone, and check in with us on arrival. We’ll have a list of all bookers with us too, so if you can’t find this info, just bring photo ID along with you. If you can’t find your e-tickets, please check your spam folder before contacting us.
Food and Drink: please feel free to bring your own soft or hot drinks and cinema snacks along to this screening, as no food or drink will be available for sale at the show. No alcohol is permitted on the premises. Please respect the venue by picking up any litter and giving it to our staff at the end of the show.
Seating: all seating is unreserved and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating will be a mixture of chairs on the floor and balcony seats. There’s no need to bring your own seats as customers do at our open-air shows in the summer!
