Join us for an evening under the stars at the lovely DoubleTree By Hilton Cheltenham-Cotswolds, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the brilliant The Goonies. This will be a ticketed event, with food, refreshments, and snacks available to purchase on the night.

Get ready for pirates, scary bad guys, brave kids, thrills, spills and booby traps in this classic 80s action adventure. Dust off your treasure map and prepare for a funny, scary, thrill ride into the unknown. There’s even a ‘Truffle Shuffle’ thrown in for good measure. A perfect adventure to be enjoyed outdoors on the big screen. HEY YOU GUYS!

Seating Types: Premium Deckchair Seats – deckchairs in premium positions close to the screen. Bring Your Own Seat Adult – age 16 and over, please bring your own low-backed camping chairs, picnic rugs, deckchairs or similar. Bring Your Own Seat Concession – under 16s, students, military and emergency services staff (relevant ID is required on the night)

Food and Drink: please don’t bring your own food and drink to this event. The venue will serve delicious hot food, cinema snacks, and alcoholic, soft and hot drinks.

Other Information: under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The film is rated 12A. Please respect the venue and use the bins provided or take your litter home after the screening.

Parking: free parking available at the venue, including disabled parking, registration at reception is required. For directions to the venue, please click HERE

Weather policy: screenings go ahead in all but worst weathers. Only if there’s heavy, prolonged rain or high winds forecast will the screening be postponed or cancelled. No refunds will be given unless the screening is cancelled. Umbrellas are permitted in the screening area until the film is about to begin, but must then be put away so that those behind you can see the screen.
